Transfers across Bulgaria and the Balkans

TAXI-BG is a private door-to-door transfer service with a driver. We take you from the airport to your hotel, from one city to another, up to the ski resorts and down to the coast, and across the border to neighbouring countries. You travel in a clean, air-conditioned car, and the price is fixed for the whole car, not per person. There is nothing to pay in advance: you pay the driver after the ride.

We are on the road around the clock, every day of the year, public holidays included. You book directly with the carrier, with no middleman and no booking platform. That means you deal with the people who actually run your trip, and any change is sorted out quickly.

Airport transfers

We meet and drop off passengers at Bulgaria's four main airports:

• Sofia Airport – the busiest airport in the country. Fares are in the Sofia Airport price list.
• Plovdiv Airport – about 20 km from central Plovdiv, a ride of around 25 minutes.
• Varna Airport – handy for Golden Sands, Albena and the northern Black Sea coast.
• Burgas Airport – the closest airport to Sunny Beach, Nessebar and Sozopol.

We track flights in real time. If your plane is late, your driver waits with no time limit and at no extra cost. You don't need to call us about a delay, because we can already see it.

Most popular routes

Plovdiv – Sofia is the route we drive most, in both directions. It is about 150 km on the Trakia motorway, around 1 h 45 min. We pick you up at your address in Plovdiv and drop you at the terminal at Sofia Airport, or the other way round, from the airport to your front door. Ski resorts and the seaside

In winter we take skiers from the airports to Bansko, at the foot of the Pirin mountains, to Borovets in the Rila mountains and to Pamporovo in the Rhodopes. From Sofia Airport, Borovets is about 75 km away, around 1 h 30 min, and Bansko about 155 km, around 2 h 15 min. From Plovdiv to Pamporovo it is about 85 km, around 1 h 45 min. Let us know about skis and snowboards when you book, so we send the right car.

In summer we head for the coast – Sunny Beach, Nessebar, Sozopol, Golden Sands and every other resort along the shore. Flying into Burgas or Varna is convenient, but plenty of travellers land in Sofia and ride straight to their hotel without changing transport.

Our fleet

Our group runs around 200 sedans, 50 minivans, around 100 buses and around 20 luxury Mercedes S-Class and E-Class cars. Whether you travel alone or with a large group, we have a car that fits.

• Sedan – up to 4 passengers.
• Minivan – up to 6 passengers, with more room for luggage.
• Minibus – up to 8 passengers.

Our passengers include tourists landing in Bulgaria for the first time who want to reach their hotel without queuing for a taxi or hunting for a bus. If you have several meetings in one day, or want to see sights outside the city, hire a car with a driver for a few hours or a full day. The driver waits while you finish, then takes you on to the next stop, so you never have to think about parking. For a group of friends or colleagues, a minivan or minibus is often cheaper than buying a ticket each, because the price is for the whole car.

3. Get your confirmation. Our operator confirms the time, the pick-up point and the car.
4. Enjoy the ride. Your driver picks you up on time, and you pay after the ride.
