Transfers to and from Varna and Varna Airport

Varna is the largest city on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, often called the country's sea capital. It is the starting point for the northern resorts: Golden Sands, St. Constantine and Helena, Albena and Balchik. The city stays busy outside the season too, with its universities, its port and plenty of business travel. Booking in four steps

1. Check the price. See the price in the table above or in the Varna price list. You pay per car, not per passenger.
2. Book. If you are landing, choose book from airport. If you are leaving from a hotel or home, choose book from address. You can also call, or message us on WhatsApp, Viber or Telegram.
3. Confirmation. Our operator confirms the time and the car.
4. Your ride. The driver picks you up and drops you at your address. You pay at the end.

Varna Airport

Varna Airport is about 10 km from the city centre, around 20 minutes by car. In summer it handles many holidaymakers bound for the northern coast; for the rest of the year it serves business travellers and students.

We track flights in real time. If your flight is delayed, the driver waits as long as needed, free of charge. Even if you land much later than planned, there is no need to call and warn us.

To the northern Black Sea resorts

The resorts around Varna are close to both the city and the airport, so transfers are short and easy:

• St. Constantine and Helena – about 10 km, around 25 min.
• Golden Sands – about 20 km, around 35 min.
• Albena – about 35 km, around 40 min.
• Balchik – about 40 km, around 45 min. The golf courses near Balchik are about 52 to 60 km away.
• Kavarna – about 60 km, around 1 h 15 min.
• Byala and Obzor to the south – about 55 and 60 km, around 1 h.

Golfers often travel with large club bags. Let us know when you book and we will send a minivan with plenty of room.

From Varna to other cities

Varna is well connected with the rest of the country, and many people travel from here for work or to get home. Dobrich is about 55 km, around 1 h; Shumen is about 90 km; and Veliko Tarnovo is about 225 km, around 2 h 45 min. Ruse is about 190 km away.

In winter we also drive to the ski resorts, even though it is a long trip: Borovets is about 480 km and Bansko about 520 km. In a roomy car with comfortable seats and no train changes, a journey like that is far more relaxed.

To Romania and Turkey

Varna is close to the Romanian border. Constanta is about 150 km, around 2 h 30 min, and Bucharest about 265 km, around 3 h 45 min. Some travellers fly from Bucharest when it offers a better connection. See our Bucharest Airport page.

Car with driver in Varna

You can hire a car with a driver for a few hours or a full day. It is ideal for meetings in different parts of the city, a wedding at one of the seaside hotels, a trip out to Balchik and Kavarna, or looking after a visiting delegation. The driver waits between stops, so you never have to worry about parking in the centre.

Our group runs around 200 sedans, 50 minivans, around 100 buses and around 20 luxury Mercedes S-Class and E-Class cars, so we can find a car even for an urgent booking in high season.

Prices and payment

The price is fixed and covers the whole car. It does not change because of summer traffic on the roads to the resorts. The table above loads from our price list, so it always shows the current price. If the route you need is missing, message us.
