Transfers to and from Burgas and Burgas Airport

Burgas is the largest city on Bulgaria's southern Black Sea coast and the gateway to the resorts stretching from Obzor down to Tsarevo. Every summer a great many holidaymakers land at Burgas Airport wanting to reach their hotel in Sunny Beach, Nessebar, Sozopol or Pomorie as quickly as possible. With TAXI-BG you travel with your own driver in a clean, air-conditioned car, at a fixed price for the whole car.

There is no prepayment: you pay the driver when you arrive. We operate around the clock, every day, holidays included, so even if you land in the middle of the night a car will be waiting. You book directly with the carrier, with no booking platform in between.

How booking works

1. Find your resort or town. See the price in the table above or in the Burgas price list. It is per car, not per person.
2. Send your booking. If you are flying in, use book from airport; if you are leaving from a hotel or home, use book from address. You can also phone us or message us on WhatsApp, Viber or Telegram.
3. Wait for confirmation. Our operator confirms the time, your flight and the car.
4. Meet your driver. You are taken right to your hotel door and pay after the ride.

Burgas Airport

The airport is in the Sarafovo district, about 10 km from central Burgas, around 15 minutes by car. In summer it gets very busy, with large numbers of holidaymakers arriving and leaving. With a transfer booked in advance, you waste no time looking for a ride and you do not have to drag your suitcases to a bus stop.

We track every flight in real time. If your plane is late, the driver waits for as long as needed, at no extra charge. There is no need to message us about a delay: we can already see it.

To the southern Black Sea resorts

Most of our trips from Burgas Airport go to the nearby resorts. Here is roughly how far they are:

• Sunny Beach – about 40 km, around 45 min. Nessebar is right next door.
• Sveti Vlas – about 45 km, around 1 h.
• Pomorie – about 20 km, around 35 min.
• Ravda – about 30 km, around 45 min.
• Sozopol – about 35 km, around 45 min, with Chernomorets on the way at about 25 km.
• Primorsko, Kiten, Lozenets and Tsarevo – between about 50 and 65 km, around 1 h to 1 h 15 min.
• Obzor – about 70 km, around 1 h 30 min.

For a family with children and plenty of luggage, a minivan is the comfortable choice, and it is still one price for the whole car.

From Burgas inland and to the capital

Not everyone stays by the sea. Plenty of travellers land in Burgas and carry on to another city. Plovdiv is about 255 km away, around 2 h 45 min; Stara Zagora is about 175 km, around 1 h 45 min; and Sofia is about 390 km, around 4 h 15 min. See also our Plovdiv transfers and Sofia transfers.

In winter the traffic flows the other way, with people from Burgas and the surrounding area heading for the ski slopes. Pamporovo is about 305 km, Borovets about 365 km and Bansko about 410 km, around 4 h 45 min.

To Turkey and Romania

Burgas is close to the Turkish border. Edirne is about 200 km, around 2 h 45 min, and Istanbul's new airport is about 310 km, around 3 h 40 min, so many travellers combine a beach holiday with a flight from Istanbul. See our Istanbul Airport page.

To the north we drive to Constanta, about 275 km, and to Bucharest, about 315 km, around 5 h. Message us about these routes and we will give you a fixed price.

Car with driver on the coast

You can hire a car with a driver for a few hours or a full day. It is an easy way to explore Nessebar's old town, Sozopol and the beaches of the southern coast without hunting for a parking space at the height of the season. It also works well for seaside weddings, company events and meeting guests.

Our cars

Our group runs around 200 sedans, 50 minivans, around 100 buses and around 20 luxury Mercedes S-Class and E-Class cars. Even at the peak of summer we can find a car for a last-minute booking.

• Sedan – up to 4 passengers.
• Minivan – up to 6 passengers, with more space for beach gear and pushchairs.
• Minibus – up to 8 passengers, for a group of friends or a big family.
• More than 8 people – message us and we will send a bus or several cars.

Prices and payment

The price is fixed, covers the whole car and does not depend on summer traffic along the coast road. The table above loads directly from our price list, so you always see the current price. If your hotel is in a smaller village that is not in the table, just message us.
