Plovdiv – Stara Zagora: distance and driving time

The two cities are about 105 km apart, and almost the whole way is on the Trakia motorway (A1). Stara Zagora lies just north of the motorway, so the car leaves the A1 at the city exit and you are in the centre a few minutes later. There are no mountain passes on this route, so the trip is easy in every season.

Our price lists give 1 h 15 min from Stara Zagora to Plovdiv and 1 h 45 min from Plovdiv to Stara Zagora. The difference is the city part: getting out of Plovdiv at busy hours takes longer than leaving Stara Zagora. If you must be somewhere at an exact time, tell us and we will plan the pick-up with some reserve.

Cars, child seats and luggage

We have about 200 sedans, 50 minivans, 100 buses and 20 S and E class cars. A sedan is enough for up to 4 people with normal luggage.
